A little info about who I am and why I contacted you...
Why did I reach out?
Well the simple answer to that question is that this is how I meet a lot of new clients. To be honest this is not my favorite way to start a relationship either, I know how many unsolicited calls and texts I get, and it can get very frustrating and bothersome. Yet this is how the world of real estate has shifted. Which is why I created this intro to send. I want people to know I am a real person, a full time Realtor, and not just someone sitting in a call center. I have been in real estate for 13 years and have been in the top 1/2 of 1% of my company, Berkshire Hathaway. I LOVE real estate, and I love helping people buy and sell homes. It is extremely rewarding to be a part of such an important financial decision in people’s lives. I focus on being ethical and always putting my clients before my commission. I understand as much as I believe in my value to a client, I am the one privileged enough to work with them.
What am I able to do to help you?
I am part of the Search Charlotte team under Berkshire Hathaway Home Services. When working with me as a buyer you have full access to both the MLS and our custom search function. I do not believe in just putting clients on a search and letting them fend for themselves. I am always out in the market, and I am connected with other top producing realtors who often share insight on new opportunities. I will watch your search as closely as you and help provide opportunities for you to explore.
On the listing side your home will be marketed throughout the MLS and through all of Search Charlottes additional marketing avenues. We are hugely invested in online presence, even in addition to what Berkshire Hathaway offers. We are teamed up with top notch photographers, stagers, attorneys, etc to help make your home sale process efficient and lucrative.
How am I different?
Everyone these days seems to have their real estate license, and the news networks headlines are always highlighting the new debates/lawsuits over commission and the future of real estate relationships. I find a general uneasiness in regards to the occupation from consumers and I do understand why. I do not want to shy away from these conversations and hope to be on the forefront of any change. I want to engage all new clients in open and honest discussions, and hopefully provide clarity on commissions and set expectations for what to expect from our relationship up front. The value I believe I have is experience, my connection to the market, financial literacy, planning/exectuation, and my commitment to doing the right thing.
Working with Real Estate Agents Disclosure
This is a mandatory disclosure from the Real Estate commission that helps buyers and sellers understand how they are represented and whose intrests a Realtor owes duties too. I NEVER do dual agency unless a seller specifically requests I do. I believe it is often a conflict of interest and benefits neither side while increasing my pay. It seems to me a recipie for lawsuits I would like to avoid. I either work as a buyers agent or a sellers agent which means I will only represnt your interests and no one elses. I am legally bound to do what is best for my client and I take that seriously.
