Life Along Curley Creek

A private Southworth waterfront retreat where paddling up Curley Creek meets front-row views of the Seattle skyline and the ferries that carry you there.

On Southworth Drive, the water does most of the talking. From the shoreline you can watch the Seattle skyline catch the evening light, the Space Needle rising in the distance, the Cascades holding the horizon, and the Bremerton and Southworth ferries tracing their quiet path past Blake Island. Eagles work the tideline overhead. Seals surface just offshore. This is waterfront living measured in small daily sightings, not just square footage.

Custom built in 2004 on nearly four-tenths of an acre, the home is arranged for one-level living on the main floor, with vaulted ceilings and expansive windows that keep the view close no matter which room you're standing in. Outside, terraced gardens step down toward the beach, where raised galvanized beds, fruit trees, and berry plants earn their keep, and new Trex decking connects several view decks built for slow mornings and long evenings. A private boat shed keeps kayaks and gear steps from your own beach access, and a beachside fireplace gives the shoreline somewhere to gather once the sun goes down.

Inside, a new kitchen and designer lighting anchor the main level alongside a peaceful primary suite with a new spa-inspired bath. Downstairs, a second kitchen added in 2025, custom built-ins, two additional bedrooms, a full bath, and dedicated laundry give the home real flexibility, ready for guests, extended family, or a private retreat of its own.

Southworth keeps you close to Port Orchard's shops and restaurants and Manchester's small-town charm, with the Southworth Ferry minutes away for easy trips into Seattle. This is Puget Sound living at a pace worth keeping.
