Get to know Brittany Vanes

My love for people and knowledge of the Bay Area is what lead me to be a Real Estate Agent. I have always been driven and passionate about my work and people. I grew up traveling all around the Bay Area for Water Polo and Swimming. I was accustomed to working with new teammates, coaches and mentors. This experience not only polished my communication and collaboration skills, but ignited that competitive nature that has propelled my success in this industry. I am always absorbing knowledge about the area - whether it be researching neighborhoods with the highest appreciation rate or sipping on a new beer at one of many award winning breweries in the Bay Area. I look forward to working with you in this exciting and dynamic market.

Start your home search now

START YOUR HOME SEARCH NOW This is a free tool I offer to ensure you are up to date on all listings within your search criteria. Looking for a new home is only a step away, most clients prefer to have a property alert set up so they can be alerted when any new property comes on the market that fits their criteria. You most likely have began to search on Zillow, Redfin, etc. However, our alerts through Real Scout are synced directly with the MLS to ensure you never miss a property. If you are not directly connected with a Realtor receiving property alerts, you could easily miss listings such as a Coming Soon Listing, as the major Real Estate sites do not always show all Coming Soon Listings.

Pre-Approval Process

Attached are our preferred lenders. It is important that the Pre-Approval process be your first step in the home buying process. We must know your budget in order to confidently search for your next home. A pre-approval letter is required to make an offer on ALL/ANY homes in this market. Allow us to guide you through this process. We are here to assist and educate you on what can make or break an offer getting accepted. Working with lenders that are well known in the industry could set your offer apart from your competition. In addition, the new California Residential Purchase Contracts calls for us to specify where you are at in the loan process. Failure to have adequate loan approval could make or break your offer being accepted in the competitive market we are in today.

How to Make a Winning Offer

This is a report that I do for every client before making an offer. We look at homes that match the square footage, bedrooms and bathrooms etc. that have sold in the area. This will help us determine an accurate price range of a winning offer. We then discuss the offer contingencies, as it is not always the price that determines the winning offer.

Building Wealth through Equity

Building Wealth through Equity Is one of the primary reason to buy vs renting in this HOT market. Perfect example, one of my clients purchased a townhome in May of 2020 at a rate of $465,000. That exact property is now worth $615,000 and moving up quickly. Don’t hold off, the market is projected keep going up over the next 5 years.
