At eXp, we prioritize a client-first approach with open communication and clear expectations. You may have heard about recent changes following NAR’s legal case regarding broker commissions. To help you navigate these updates, i've consolidated the key information for you.
While commissions have always been negotiable, as of August 17th, the local MLS will no longer display the seller’s offer to compensate the buyer’s agent. Additionally, a Buyer-Broker Representation Agreement will be required before any property showings.
To ensure we stay compliant and on track, please use the link below to schedule a call with us. We can meet via Zoom or in person to complete these forms together. We’ll send the necessary documents through DocuSign after our meeting, so there’s no need for you to handle them beforehand.
I've also attached supplementary forms that will be required while touring homes and before entering escrow with a seller.
Feel free to review everything at your own pace. If you have any questions or would like to discuss anything further, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I'm committed to providing you with the support you need as we work together to achieve your homeownership goals.
