What You Should Know

1.Chula Vista requires a business license for anyone engaging in a business within its city limits. This includes renting out a property, as it's considered a business activity.

2.Home Occupation Permit:.

If your rental operation is considered a home occupation (e.g., you live on the property and are managing the rental from there), you may also need a Home Occupation Permit in addition to the business license.
