Buyers Representation
A Buyer Representation and Broker Compensation Agreement is a contract between a homebuyer and a real estate agent that outlines the terms of their working relationship. It confirms that the agent will represent the buyer’s interests exclusively in finding and purchasing a property, and specifies how the agent will be paid; whether by the seller, the buyer, or a combination of both. The agreement typically includes the length of the representation period, the agent’s duties, and any compensation terms, ensuring transparency and protecting both parties throughout the home-buying process.
Closing Costs
Closing costs are the fees and expenses paid at the end of a real estate transaction, in addition to the property’s purchase price. They typically include loan fees, title insurance, escrow charges, property taxes, transfer taxes, and other services needed to finalize the sale.
