Originally from Quebec City, Canada, Michele Sergie is now a naturalized American who has lived in Texas since 1976. As a multicultural traveler, she has a special sense of home. “There truly is no other place like it,” she says. “I wish for nothing more than for my customers to feel exactly the same way.” After Michele and her husband moved to the U.S., she worked as a social studies teacher and as an administrator in her husband’s medical practice. But her people talents blossomed in real estate: problem-solving, flexibility, and a deep understanding of a diverse range of clients, aided by her fluency in French. Real estate came naturally: She took a friend to an open house and, while explaining its construction, she was asked what company she worked for. The agent thought she was already a pro. A top-producing Realtor® since 1998 and a member of the national, Texas, and Houston associations of Realtors®, Michele is a certified buyer’s representative but also serves sellers and investors in the Greater Houston area, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and the communities in between. She credits her success to her dedication to duty, ethics, honesty, professionalism, empathy, and good-natured sense of humor. In her spare time, Michele has volunteered for various programs in local schools, bringing the live arts to students. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and hosting small gatherings in her favorite place of all — home.
