First of all, who am I?
Please watch this quick video. It does a pretty good job answering the question!
...and what do people say about my work?
I have 138 positive reviews on Zillow and over 50 on Google (and adding more every month)--more than practically ANY OTHER solo Real Estate Agent in the SF Bay Area!
Here's a Buyer's Guide Just for You
No need to communicate with anyone else about East Bay real estate--I look forward to helping you. I'm a Top Producer year after year, a leading agent in one of the Bay Area's premier real estate brokerages, born and raised right here, intimately familiar with our hot, hyper-local market, uniquely qualified to expertly guide you through the process and get you into contract on the property of your choice at the lowest possible price.
Should I Keep Renting or Should I Buy?
Here are 6 reasons to make the transition to ownership presented in a 45-second video.
Another way to look at it...
Sometimes an infographic sums it up nicely. Have a look at this one.
...But WHERE?
Map of the EAST BAY neighborhoods. I can help you in any of these communities and if you're looking elsewhere I can refer you to a trustworthy colleague.
...and HOW? I probably need a loan!
In a competitive seller’s market such as the East Bay Area, sellers will always choose the buyer who comes in with financing from a trustworthy, known lender with a stellar reputation. This is the "biggie." Listing agents are all too aware of the risks posed by inexperienced, unscrupulous, or out-of-area lenders or even local big banks and credit unions and often advise their seller clients not to accept offers backed by such lenders. If buyers want to get their offer accepted, they are well-advised to use a highly reputable lender, not a big bank or a credit union or a mortgage broker. After all, what good does it do to rely on an inappropriate lender if you can't get your dream home into contract in the first place?
Rate Shoppers Beware!
Eyes open! Don't fall for these tricks. Start by reading a blog post from my preferred lender about 5 misleading rate quote tricks to watch out for when talking to lenders.
The Story of a 3-Legged Stool
Sitting squarely atop this stool is a success story:
1. Work with a Top REALTOR®, not a friend or family member but a true professional.
2. Find an appropriate, local lender (I'd be happy to refer you to one), not a big bank, credit union, mortgage broker, or internet lender AND get fully pre-underwritten, not just
3. Sharpen your search tools: Use an MLS-direct, proprietary home search platform like mine, not Zillow, Redfin, or realtor.com which make poor substitutes for an effective search strategy
Sample Purchase Agreement--RPA
Ready to write your first offer? Here is a sample contract--the paperwork we'll need to fill out when making offers. It's called a "Residential Purchase Agreement" or "RPA" and is provided by the California Association of Realtors® for all real estate transactions throughout the state. Since it is a legally binding contract I recommend you review it before starting to actually look at properties because I guarantee you that when you're all excited and emotional, having found the perfect house, you'll have a hard time reading through this paperwork with a clear head. By all means, let me know if you have any questions or if anything is unclear. I actually enjoy explaining it (I know: that's a little weird)!
