Ben never expected to get into real estate. With a degree in business and economics, he had different plans for his career - until his father, a broker, challenged him to give real estate a try. After a few months of working in the field, Ben realized something: he loved working with people and applying his business and economics background to get his clients the best investment (whether they were selling or buying). He moved to Santa Cruz and founded his own firm in Aptos in 2007, which has grown exponentially since. Today his thriving brokerage is reaching into Silicon Valley and beyond. Ben still loves working with clients and has fostered a company culture that centers around the client among his team.

Tarra is the Office Manager at Strock Real Estate and has been with the team for the past four years. To say that she wears a lot of hats is an understatement - Tarra is not only a licensed agent herself, she supports all of the agents on our team and is a huge component of getting each and every property ready to go live on the market. That process begins with a client's initial call to Strock. Tarra will likely be one of the first people you talk to when you call our office, and she'll connect you with the right member of our team. From there she oversees property presentation services, contracts, and systemizing communications with all clients.

Gina is our Transaction Manager here at Strock Real Estate. Simply put, her job is to make sure that both parties (buyers and sellers, that is) dot their Ts and cross their Is on all transaction paperwork. She makes sure that all disclosures are listed, explained, and properly signed, creating a paper trail throughout the entire process. She strives for accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness, always leaving room to walk clients through the process (it's a lot of paperwork, and she's a pro at making it look simple!). Her favorite part about the job is when the escrow closes, which means that everything is completed, and each party is ready to write a new chapter of their story!
