Sample Buyer Representation Agreement

California Association of Realtor's buyer broker compensation agreement.

Starting August 2025, all buyers will need a signed agreement with an agent to use an agent's services, including touring properties, obtaining advice, and writing offers.

The agreement outlines the period we will work together, our compensation, and our duties to you, our clients.

Lenders We Love

Here's some of our lenders with decades of experience getting buyers like you into their home. This list will cover special needs like VA/FHA, self-employment, income statement, TIC, down payment assistance, and more.

Who Pays for What?

A useful tool to determine closing costs based on what county you're in. Closing costs include your down payment, escrow and title fees, city point of sale ordinances, property transfer tax, loan origination fees, and other credits negotiated with seller.

Property Transfer Tax

Determine how much the property transfer tax is for your county and city. This is part of your closing costs, the additional fees when you purchase a home.

Investment Calculator

Provides an estimate of your cash flow and expenses for this property. Make a copy to edit

Tax Lookup | San Francisco

Lookup the current property tax with the address. Will update with the sale of the home. In general, property tax is 1.18% of your home's assessed value. It's reassessed upon sale or major upgrades.
