About Mark Choey

Mark is the Founder & CEO of HighNote (highnote.io), a software platform for the residential real estate industry. His prior experience as a top producing real estate agent (#2 in condo sales in San Francisco), team leader, brokerage founder, computer engineering, design, and product gives him unique insights into what makes for great software for real estate. HighNote's first product streamlines the "sales pitching" workflow for real estate agents, helping early users win more listings, offers, and new buyers than ever before. Mark was one of the top-selling real estate agents in San Francisco, consistently among the top 1% of agents in both buyer-represented and seller-represented sales, and was in the top 5 agents in SF condo sales volume from 2011-2016. Mark was the #1-lifetime agent at Infinity, Lumina among others, and represented the most sellers and buyers in both new sales and resales. Mark is also the founder of the blog, SF New Developments, where he pioneered the usage of a blog as a platform for real estate agents – providing resources for clients to navigate the booming San Francisco residential new development landscape. Mark also currently invests and advises in various real estate companies especially those with a technology component. Mark was co-founder of Climb Real Estate, a San Francisco Bay Area-based real estate brokerage known for its innovative business model and technology offerings. Mark led the business strategy and development of CLIMB from its inception in 2007 as a sales group then later as an independent brokerage in 2010 all the way to its acquisition by Realogy/NRT, the nation's largest real estate brokerage in 2016. CLIMB was recognized among the top real estate brokerages in the San Francisco Bay Area and nationally recognized as a leader in innovation, marketing, and technology. While at Climb, Mark also founded Climb Labs (climblabs.com), the innovation arm of Climb Real Estate focused on new ideas in the real estate brokerage space. Mark also founded the original real estate blog focused on San Francisco New Developments, SFnewdevelopments.com, and has been among the top-ranked agents in real estate. Previously founded and sold Gecko Travel, a precursor to Trip Advisor. Angel Investor: exited First.io, Disclosures.io. Specialties: Real Estate Brokerage Owner/Co-founder, Technology
