A Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE) has been accepted into the Ilumni Institute, completed the most comprehensive divorce real estate training program in the nation, and abides by their Code of Ethics.

To become a CDRE, a Realtor must first prove that they have achieved mastery in real estate through a rigorous application process and minimum experience requirements.

Once admitted to the program, the curriculum consists of a 40-hour live instruction course, a 12-month online correspondence learning program both taught by a faculty of family law attorneys, judicial officers, and family law experts concentrating on the practice of real estate matters in divorce cases. Annual certification renewal and coursework is required in order to maintain the CDRE credential.
